The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Arthas become an important cultural landmark in Kansas City, thanks to its rich art collection and unique architectural space. The museum building itself is an important part of the visitor experience. This museum features a classical architectural style, constructed with solid stone, and has a solemn and elegant appearance. Its south facade faces tiered landscaped terraces that complement the surrounding green space, showcasing the solemn character of a traditional art museum. Stepping inside the museum, the spacious galleries, symmetrical spatial layout, and classic architectural details create a quiet and serene environment for appreciating artworks. Most of the galleries are hidden underground, introducing natural light through glass structures, allowing the exhibits to present different layers of visual effects in the soft daylight.

The building is magnificent and spectacular, and the collection is rich and diverse, housing many national treasures of China, such as Chinese porcelain, paintings, sculptures and other precious works of art. It is well worth a visit to learn from and draw inspiration from, and can be called a world-class grand museum.
