If you are visiting China and do not already have a Chinese mobile phone number, then you must have a eSIM card to move around, because China is a massive digital land!

It's very convenient; the internet works well and has a good connection without interruptions. This was my first time using an e-SIM, and I had no problems activating it. You can always check your remaining data in the app. I used it in Heihe.

It worked great on my last trip to Shanghai, but on this trip to Hong Kong, Chengdu, and Chongqing, it seems like the SIM card needs updating when changing cities or regions. Sometimes the internet signal is 5G, even though I chose the 100GB per day plan. But it still works, better than life without internet, haha. My boyfriend and I use different SIM cards, but mine drains faster than his. I wonder if it's because of the model, haha.

I got the daily 1gb. I recommend this. I like that it resets my allowance each day, as its not uncommon when I've lost WIFI or haven't been contected and used up all my data without realising. Its great to know it resets and is very reliable.
