I took this class with Francesca in early September. Francesca was so lively and did a very nice job of ensuring everyone understood and heard each and every step. After reading some reviews I wasn’t sure if I was going to actually learn how to make the sauces; Francesca explained the entire process step-by-step. A month later, I was able to accurately re-create a Tuscan Ragú with homemade pappardelle. The wine was great. The people were great. It was an overall excellent experience. Thank you, Francesca, for sharing your family recipes! I came before the rest of my group came to Italy; I wish I would’ve been able to find some thing for our large group just like this!

An excellent experience. One of the best I've had on my travels. Delicious food and an exquisite homemade dessert. John, Jack, and Jacobo were very entertaining and professional. We had a blast. It's a must-do. One of the best travel investments. A beautiful place!

What an experience! Was on holiday Pisa Italy. Would like to visit a winery. Found Tenuta Adamo which is 12 km north of Lucca which is 1/2 hour by train from Pisa. Called at 9 and asked if we could come in the afternoon and how we got up there from Lucca. No problems will be picked up at the station and driven back. Everything at a reasonable price according to Azinda / the owner. Tasted 5 different wines, cheese, sausages and ham. Wow, how delicious it was. Sat outside and had an unobstructed view of the vineyards. Definitely the best experience on our holiday. Price more than fare, good price. Many thanks Azienda, wife and employees. This was a great experience in learning about the history and process of winemaking in the region. Ettore, our guide was excellent at explaining different soils and grape varieties in how they produce certain vintages. Tastings were excellent, plate of salumi, formaggio e pane went well with the wine. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars, would have been a trip to the vineyard, which they are working on.

Lovely and educational experience. Wines and food were tasty, drive to the tasting room is beautiful, and close to San Gimignano. We are not connoisseurs, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Certainly over delivered for the cost. As soon as we entered the tasting room and saw the lovely set up, I knew that there would be a sales pitch at the end. Wines were quite pricey. We left a generous tip and bowed out without an additional purchase. If this is a challenge for you, be prepared to drop some cabbage. Highly recommend the experience.


