Reviews: Huanglong National Scenic Area
Guest User2013-01-20
The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs 30 USD. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.★

We were a little confused about where to find the bus, but everything worked out fine in the end. I recommend it 👍★

Everything was great. The driver added me in Wechat, sent me detailed instructions, so it was very easy to find him when I arrived to the railway station.★

Luggage can be left in the car the whole time, so there's no need to move it around while exploring Huanglong. It's much more convenient than those shuttle buses, saving you time and effort. The Huanglong scenic area itself is also incredibly beautiful; the Five-Colored Pool sparkles in the sunlight, and every photo you take looks like a professional shot.★

Reviews: Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station - Jiuzhaigou National Park shuttle bus [business vehicle · free hotel drop-off] · private charter optional

I booked a car from Huanglong to Jiuzhaigou and back from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong with the same company. The drivers were different, but both were reliable. Driver 8682F on the outbound trip drove a clean and tidy vehicle, drove smoothly, and dropped me off at the hotel. Very good.
