We booked the family tour at my son‘s suggestion but the whole family had a blast. Our son is 13 and this was the one activity he wanted to do on our vacation here. We had four people, aged 13-mid 60s. Andy and Anup were our tour guides and did a fantastic job of making the day exciting and safe. We arrived early and decided to add the photo package. They were very accommodating in adjusting and adding a photographer and getting us on the water early. Everyone was super friendly and their process of educating guests and preparing them for the water was very efficient. From what I observed, the staff all spoke multiple languages and were very easy to understand. They also have a great sense of humor, which is hard to find these days in businesses. After a short 15 minute ride and about 20 minutes of instruction, we were ready to hit the water. It was a windy day and Andy did a great job of guiding the boat and keeping everyone safe and on board. Anup did a fantastic job in his kayak, taking photos and maneuvering as a safety monitor. I think he took about 100 photos of our party and all were amazing. He really captured the experience and took vibrant, clear, properly exposed photos. Halfway through the excursion, we stopped for a break and made hot chocolate from a local hot spring. This was a surprise and the highlight of the trip for our 13 year old. Once we hit the larger portion of the river, got to jump in the water and float for a bit. The dry suits made this really enjoyable because you cooled off but didn’t get wet. Very cool experience!! We didn’t opt for the lunch, but everything smelled amazing. They were also very accommodating and offered to make alternative foods for those who didn’t eat meat. If you have the time, I recommend signing up for the lunch. Whether you have a family, kids or just adults in your party, I highly recommend this excursion. We would definitely do it again. And if the above is not evidence enough, they do have two puppies that greeted you at the door. That alone is worth the visit. lol ;)
