I booked a tour for my mom and aunt. The two elderly people went on the trip. After they came back, they told me that the tour itinerary was very good, and everything was fine, except that both the tour leader and the other members looked down on people from other parts of the country (most of the group were locals from Shanghai, and only my mom and aunt were from Nanjing). For example, every night when they were assigned rooms, they were given street-facing or corner rooms with dark rooms, which they were quite unhappy about. As a nationwide tour group, this is something they really need to improve.

This trip to Angkor was very comfortable. I booked the hotels in advance through Ctrip, which was very convenient. I booked the Ohana Hotel in Phnom Penh and the Stung Hotel in Siem Reap. Both hotels were good and had good service. The only downside was that none of the hotels had staff who spoke Chinese, and their English was very poor, so we could only manage to get by.
