The performances were world class and the production was extremely professional. This is a unique experience that should be high on your to do list when visiting Athens.★

I'm Japanese. The meeting point is Larissa station, but if you go about 5 minutes before departure, the seats are already quite sparsely filled, so if you're traveling with two or more people, it might be better to go about 30 minutes early to ensure you can sit next to each other. There are rest stops every two hours on the way there, and you can also get a light meal at the parking areas. People use the restrooms, buy drinks, and so on. It says that USB charging cables are provided, but they are located overhead, and it's inconvenient unless you have a long cable. Moreover, if you're sitting next to a stranger, the cable will hang down in front of them, which can be awkward if the cable isn't long enough. It's easier to add lunch to the package. There's only one restaurant at the destination, so you'll end up paying for it anyway. If you choose the lunch package, you'll be given a free card, and you take that card to line up, tell them what you want to eat, and they'll fill you up. There's no Japanese-speaking guide, but the English-speaking guide is perfectly enjoyable. It was like a bus tour guide. As we toured Meteora, they'd point out things like, "This is a UNESCO site..." I participated in September, and there were so many participants that three large buses were completely full, so Japanese people won't feel isolated. There's a 5 euro fee to enter each monastery, so you'll need 15 euros in cash for the three monasteries that are open that day. Some of the souvenir shops inside the monasteries accept cards, but you should pay in cash to enter.★

The best price on the Athens sightseeing bus is on trip! A 48-hour ticket covers three routes: history, beaches, and a ferry stop! Children under 14 get a great discount, and discounted tickets are only sold on the bus for children under 12. 🤷♀️
