Reviews: Puffing Billy Railway + Healesville Sanctuary Day Tour with City Transfers

The itinerary locations and the Puffing Billy experience were wonderful. The only disappointment was that the actual schedule on the day differed from what was listed on the website, the order of the attractions was changed. The train ride started from Lakeside Station instead of the original Belgrave departure. This made my pre-trip research useless, and I was worried about not getting good photos. Luckily, our tour guide was very helpful in answering our questions. However, it would be much better if travelers could be notified at least a day in advance if there are any changes to the itinerary.

A well organised day to visit the wonderful Puffin Billy Railway . About an hour from Melbourne we had time for a comfort stop before departing . A trip of 1 hour was plenty to take us to Lakeside Station . There was a good cafe,shop & lakeside walk before we departed Our next stop was Healesville Sanctuary about 50 minutes away The sanctuary was set in a forest location and showcased a large number of Australia's indigenous creatures. Really would have appreciated more time there to get the full experience ! Michael our driver and guide was very good and kept us informed throughout the day on local sights & history Would thoroughly recommend this trip
