The ferry ticket exchange process was very smooth. The booth is conveniently located on Level 3 of HarbourFront Centre, and the staff were friendly and relaxed. We thought we had plenty of time since there were still 30 minutes before departure. While exchanging our tickets, the staff was chatting and joking with us. Just before handing over the tickets, she casually mentioned, "Anyway, you still have 5 minutes before the gate closes." We immediately panicked but couldn't stop laughing as we rushed towards immigration. The return journey was just as easy. Simply show your booking confirmation at the Batam ferry terminal, and the staff will issue your boarding pass. One thing to note is that there is a terminal fee of S$6 per person on both the Singapore and Batam sides, so budget an additional S$12 per person for a round trip. Overall, a hassle-free and enjoyable experience with friendly staff and an easy booking process.

went during peak period. counter staff was friendly and gave us the return trip ferry tickets as well. booking process was simple and fast. note that due to recent circumstances, and additional $11 per pax for return trip is required (pay at counter).
