Wow!! I cannot recommend this trip enough!! It was absolutely amazing, the perfect blend of guidance and information with enough freedom to explore and see things on your own. Dao was the best tour guide, I've ever had, anywhere. I did this tour with my wife and sister, but I will definitely be taking my parents and friends on this exact tour when they visit me. If you want to see the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China and you only have one full day in Beijing, then 1000000% book this trip. Thank you for this wonderful experience.★

Wow!! I highly recommend this trip!! It was absolutely fantastic! The guide and information were perfectly combined, and there was plenty of freedom to explore on your own. Dao is the best guide I've ever had. I took this trip with my wife and sister, but I'll definitely take my parents and friends on it when they visit. The Great Wall day trip was a great experience, especially thanks to the two staff members for their professional service. The Ctrip customer service was patient and attentive; their suggestion to choose an earlier tour was spot-on, allowing ample time to catch the high-speed train. Tour guide Zhao Yingjie was thoughtful and professional, providing detailed and engaging commentary along the way, enriching the Great Wall experience and making me look forward to other attractions in Beijing. When other members of the group were worried about adjusting their plans, she actively offered assistance and coordinated with various parties. Our family of three participated in a one-day tour of the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and the Old Summer Palace. The price was very reasonable; I booked only the day before the tour and received immediate confirmation. On the day of the tour, the tour leader was professional, incredibly attentive, and punctual. The itinerary was well-planned, and the tour leader explained everything clearly, repeating the meeting and dismissal procedures three to four times. This tour was perfect for older people or those unfamiliar with the area. Our guide, Liu Depeng, was truly exceptional—incredibly professional. He knew the history of the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace by heart, and was thoroughly familiar with all the historical allusions, poems, and songs associated with them. His professional and sincere attitude made this tour a must-recommend!
