Although the sea of Alexandria is not as good as the Matru and the Red Sea, when the weather is good, the sea of Alexandria is not very bad. Every day, the sunrise and sunset have different beauty with different weather. The city of Alexandria is not depressing. The Mediterranean climate is also very good. It's worth coming. We were absolutely blessed to have Mohammed as our guide in Alexandria. Knowledgeable—he has a Master’s degree in hieroglyphics and is working on his PhD—kind and thoughtful; he showed us and told us about this magnificent city. We toured the “new city” and the “old city,” seeing sights from the time of Alexander the Great. We had a bountiful and delicious meal at Branzino restaurant, with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean, and afterward, we took a few minutes to stick fingers and toes in the Sea and take photos with a giant parrot. We highly recommend Mohammed and this tour. We’re still beaming.

Jean was an incredible guide. From the moment he and our driver Mohammed picked me up from my hotel, he was warm, welcoming and a great first contact in Egypt. The Alexandria library, the catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, and the mosque were all lovely sights set against the picturesque and sunny/breezy background of Egypt’s fine coastal city. Would easily do this tour again and highly recommend it for you!
