It was a beautiful walk with stunning views and beautiful flowers and plants along the way. The guide took great care to tell us all about it, providing interesting information about Madeira itself and its history. The route was also easy to walk. We stopped at two lovely coffee shops along the way. There were some narrow sections here and there, with the drop-off at your side. But even if you have a fear of heights, it's still manageable. All in all, a truly fantastic day. The guide had a great sense of humor, by the way.

Nice hike with a knowledgeable guide. Make sure you have proper shoes as there are a lot of steps down and it can get a bit flooded in the 800m long tunnel. (Also bring a torchlight or a phone as it’s totally dark in there)

The boat was beautiful, very well kept and clean. The crew was very attentive and a wealth of information. We could not see dolphins but we did not really care because we still had a great time. Very very well organized.

The Levada walk was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it. The only criticism would be that the pace at which the walk is expected to be completed can be very fast. Not much time is given to take pictures and see the beautiful scenery as you walk. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would book this if you’re in decent shape and are comfortable with moderate hiking.


