Lux was a great guide, full of insights and information. Our trip through the old market was fascinating and even through the torrential rain we had a great explore of Buddhist and hidden old Hindu temples, and local craft initiatives. It was great to do this near the start of our visit to Seam Reap.

A must do evening tour. Our guide Bopha was amazing. She showed us several traditional Cambodian dishes we would never think of trying. We had already tried a few eating places by ourselves a few days earlier but with her explanation and the way the food should be enjoyed made such a huge difference in appreciating Cambodian cuisine. We actually went back to one of the eating places on our last day in Cambodia just to savour the food one more time before going home. A bonus on this tour is being driven around Siem Reap in a Tuk Tuk at night. Wonderful experience.

A must-see. The site is superb, with its gardens, buildings (old and modern for the bar), and plantations. The guided tour and tasting that follows are free. A wonderful immersion into the culture of Kampot pepper, Java pepper, and various spices. The shop is also a must-see. The bar, high up, offers a superb view of the plantations and the lake in the distance. The restaurant, with dishes, of course, centered around pepper, is superb, the dishes succulent; even the pepper chocolate ice cream is very good. The staff, whether for tours, reception, the bar, shop, or restaurant, are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this tour, which can be done from either Kep or Kampot.


