Reviews: Northern Lights Tour Yellowknife

Aurora chasing was a new experience and Mother Nature’s light show did not disappoint! Learned you have to be in the right place at the right time and our guide could read the signs that a superb aurora was building! This tour made me an aurora snob where if the light show wasn’t exceptional - I already had the impressive photos from this tour!!

The tour guide was very professional. Although the weather was bad, we finally found a suitable place to see it. It was very shocking!

The phone settings instructions to get data roaming to work didn’t match my phones interface, which made it very confusing to get my eSIM to start working. I am using an Australian iPhone 17 with iOS 26.2.
Reviews: Winter Day Trip: Lake Louise, Marble Canyon, Emerald Lake, Banff
Guest User2026-01-27
My winter day trip was spectacular with one other couple from my country and our tour guide, Layse M. Specifically, we went to (in no particular order) Marble Canyon - Yoho National Park - Emerald Lake - Natural Bridge - Lake Louise - Banff Town. Layse was very informative about the history and cultural heritage of Banff National Park (and all the sub-parks). Going at this time of year, certain parks are closed off, such as Moraine Lac, to those of the general public who aren’t aware of the safety concerns this time of year. If you are new to snow, consider bringing along snow spikes, however the parks are decently equipped with guard rails as well if you like to climb. Thank you to Layse and Westar Travel for a great time to connect with the Canadian Rockies.
