Reviews: From Cardiff: Guided Tour of Welsh Valleys

Excellent trip! Unfortunately it rained thru the day, but our guide Gareth offered suggestions to our group for adjusting the day a bit, to accommodate the weather. Had the chance to visit Tintern Abbey and three castles, all fantastic stops. He also knew the towns well, to offer thoughts for what to explore and great places for food or drink. We had a great group and a great guide. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful tour! We only had 2 days in Cardiff and this trip was definitely worthwhile as you get to see quite a bit of Cardiff and surrounds. Great guided tour, well-timed and spaced out commentary by a knowledgeable, friendly and engaging tour guide, Chris, and the driver, Lisa, was exceptional. The trip provided us with kilometres of breathtaking sights; the castles were great to see and enter, and the towns - something out of lore! And when one of the castles were not available, Chris and Lisa made up for it by adding more time for another castle. The timing worked well - incl. how much time we had to explore on our own + to get lunch. Tips and recommendations, do's and don't's were very much appreciated, as was the disposable raincoats when we went exploring.

We loved our tour! It wasn’t the best weather but Bill was the best tour guide and we had a great time. Would really recommend this to any dr who fan visiting Cardiff. You wouldn’t see all the spots on the tour on your own and you see so many things you don’t even realise were in doctor who. We had so much fun and would do it again!
Reviews: Cardiff: Golden Gower Coast, Swansea & Mumbles Day Tour

Lisa as our driver and Chris as our guide were a lovely duo and in good spirits throughout the drive. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather (Storm Amy), so we did the tour in reverse. Despite the bad weather, Worms Head and Rhosilli Beach are truly beautiful. The hike between the beaches was definitely a trek in the wind and water, but still worthwhile. The shops at Mumbles were rather unremarkable, but the beach walk has its charm if you had more time. We also made a 15-minute stop at the Thomas Dylan Centre in Swansea. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but tastes vary. All in all, a great tour.

Absolutely amazing tour! Ricky was an outstanding guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive. The private van tour through Mumbles and the Gower Peninsula was a fantastic experience, with excellent stops and fascinating local insights along the way. We even stopped at a lovely pub for lunch (not included, but totally worth it!). Ricky made sure we were comfortable the entire time, always checking on us and even providing water throughout the journey. Highly recommend this tour – it’s the perfect way to explore this beautiful area!

The town of Tenby and the views of the sea were awesome. Also loved the town and castle of laugharne. The drive was a bit long but our driver Gareth filled the time by telling us interesting facts about Wales.
