Using eSIM in Vietnam was incredibly impressive! I could activate the internet instantly, no need to waste time buying a SIM card or queuing for registration. I just scanned the QR code before traveling, and once I arrived, I activated data roaming and could use it right away. Super convenient! The signal was excellent. It was smooth to use both in the city and while traveling. Using social media, uploading photos, making video calls, or using maps was seamless. The speed was surprisingly stable. Another thing I liked was that I didn't have to remove my main SIM card, so I could still receive OTPs and important messages from my Thai number. Very reassuring! In short, if you're planning a trip to Vietnam, I highly recommend eSIM. It's convenient, saves time, and is very easy to use. I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
