Kevin the guide was fabulous However the minivan was really uncomfortable for 7 people and the ones in the very back were cramped and car sick

We had an excellent day out. In hindsight probably I would choose summer for this tour; while the snow was atmospheric, it did kind of cover up the volcanic landscape. Nonetheless, the tour was well led by Ernesto, who had a pleasant manner. With the snow, was a bit harder than I had anticipated, and was actually glad they gave us walking poles, as well as other gear, as quite slippery in the melting snow. It was a fun and informative excursion; wasn't quite convinced on the need to slide on our backsides down one slope, and I was very glad we didn't have this trip on our last day, so we could at least change clothes once back in Catania. Overall, a very good trip and well led. Would recommend, but think carefully on the time of year and what is best for you. Drive up was very nice. Many thanks

Peppe our guide was great; very knowledgeable in Etna's volcanic activity. The small hike was a very pretty path. We tried a variety of honey, wines, olive oils and others. Unfortunately, cloud coverage/fog covered the view at the top and the cable car wasn't operating. Due to the snow, we couldn't go into the cave either. It was still a great time and Taormina was beautiful as always. I still would recommend this tour and will likely do it again in the future, maybe late spring or early summer to ensure we can go inside the cave. Thank you!


