Reviews: The Nature Trail At Chorao Island In Goa
Guest User2025-11-01
The Chorao Island Nature Trail with Soul Travelling was an absolute delight: a perfect blend of nature, culture, and calm. Chorao, often overlooked by most visitors, unfolds like a quiet secret through this trail : from its serene temples and lush paddy fields to age-old chapels and mangrove-fringed backwaters. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, revealing a side of Goa that’s rooted in heritage and harmony with nature. The gentle ferry ride, the greenery along narrow island lanes, the sound of birds at dusk, and the golden light over the river created an atmosphere of peace that words can barely capture. The homely Goan meal at a local kulaghar, the postcard-writing moment, the Feni tasting, and the boat ride on the Mandovi under the night sky all came together beautifully to make this trail memorable. A special mention to Royston, our ambassador, for bringing alive every story with warmth and passion. Soul Travelling truly lives up to its name: this isn’t just sightseeing, it’s an experience that connects you to the soul of Goa. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, mindful travel.
Reviews: The Divar Island Exploration

First of all kudos to the soul travelling team for organizing an exploration just for a single person. Appreciate it a lot. Coming to the overall experience, wow, it was amazing. Never imagined such a place in the middle of Goa. My guide Satwik was friendly and knowledgeable. Shared a lot of information about the island and the historic places on it from the church built by the Portuguese to the recently discovered temple. The history of the place is really interesting. Went to a villa by the riverside for snacks. The owner was a great guy. It was peaceful. The view from the villa was amazing. A perfect retirement home. Could sit there for hours. However, the best part of the trail was the boat ride. Still remember the name of the boat "Yaadon ki Kashti". And it did give me some beautiful memories. The boatman again was a great guy who explained everything about the flora and fauna around the place. It was super peaceful and beautiful. Cannot describe the peace there. No boats around, no noise, just trees and water and some beautiful birds. Got to see a stellar sunset. It was totally worth it. Places like these are highly underrated. It's a lot different than the usual Goa experience that people get. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
Reviews: A Culinary Journey With Locals In Chorao Island
Guest User2025-10-05
An excellent way to explore the traditional way of life in Goa. The entire culinary experience was amazing, thanks to the ambassador, KARAN who s vast knowledge of Goa and the life of a Goan helped immensely. This place is situated in lush green nature and the food cooked by the locals is something to come back for, besides a hands on experience on cooking.
Reviews: Chronicles and Echoes of Divar Island by Make It Happen

Very unique and beautiful experience to learn about Divar island and see various spots, truly a wonderful experience and the food and music hosted by a family who stays on the island really adds to the experience! Plenty of history and stunning views. Do ensure you have your own transport as you’ll be moving all across the island! Swynne was a wonderful guide and told us plenty of fun stories about the history of the island!
Reviews: Divar Island E-Bike Tour with Snacks
Guest User2025-11-19
I had the best day with Riyaz! He took me to see some churches in Old Goa, after which we boarded the ferry to Divar Island and there, drove around on our E-Bikes. Bikes were in top shape and I got to learn so much about the wildlife and the history. Snacks were really good, too! He made me feel like a good friend and not like a guest. 10/10
