I took the THSR from Taipei to Taichung. The ticket issuing process was easy and straightforward. Taipei Station is large and difficult to walk through, but I was able to board the train without any hassle. While there are unreserved seats, I recommend reserved seats, as they are more comfortable and safer.

I'm very grateful to our tour guide, Chen Jihong (Ji Ge), for his humorous and engaging explanations throughout the trip and for taking photos for everyone along the way. His thoughtful service was truly rewarding! I highly recommend anyone from mainland China to hire a car with Ji Ge; he's a very comfortable guide.

Unlike the previous self-driving tours, with professional guides and drivers, the itinerary is very comfortable and everyone relaxes. The tour guide Xiaoding and the driver Xiao Shi are very professional and the service is in place. The only fly in the ointment is that the distance between the seats of the car is too small. Don't say that the big man with more than 1 meter 8 is very uncomfortable. The car sits down for 5 hours. It is simply a crime. It is recommended that the car be improved in the future, even if you add more money!


