What a great event. 3 hours learning about the city and it's history. David was our guide and he was the best! He took us to some great spots and spoke to all members of the group. The tour went fast and we would definitely go on another!

I really enjoyed this tour of downtown Cincinnati. The tour is a nice combination of seeing sites, learning history, and eating, lots of eating. Our guide Dave showed us around the various areas, we saw the Reds displays around the stadium, local building murals, learned to ride the trolley, Music Hall, and Findlay Market. One thing I appreciated was getting to try several Cincinnati specific dishes: Cincinnati Chili and Goetta. There is walking on this tour but only one small hill to climb. I was indeed full at the end. Dave even took pictures of the group at various points and sent them to us. He was always interesting, kind, and full of information. I still share his story about the Scottish place that brought over Scottish soil to place under the restaurant. My friends love it. I do recommend this tour as a good way to learn about Cincinnati. As a side note the start point is near the Trolley line service which was a plus for us.

Monica was an amazing tour guide for our haunted tour! She’s a fantastic storyteller, bringing the history and legends to life in a way that kept everyone captivated. Her passion for the stories and her engaging personality made the experience both fun and chilling. Highly recommend her if you're looking for an unforgettable tour! Christian P., Philippines
Reviews: Nightmare on Elm Street Walking Tour

Positives: Interesting and informative tour. My original reason for booking this tour was for the history. I was not so much sold on the paranormal side. Miranda is a great tour guide. Her humor and how she handles the possibilities of ghosts and paranormal activity was very enjoyable. She did provide EMF meters a parabolic microphone that we shared with the other people in the tour. Using the dowsing/divining rods to communicate was interesting as well. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy themselves. She explained things well and had plenty of stories and interesting facts. It is short walk from the starting point. Basically walk up W. McMicken Ave. towards Elm Street. Turn left down Elm street to Findlay Street. Another left down Findlay street over to Race St. turn right at race street and up to Findlay Market Square. The brewery tunnel entrance is at Findlay Market Square. Once you go down into the basement for access to the tunnels more things are explained to you. Be careful going down the stairs into the tunnel they are tricky. Once in the tunnels she tells of her personal experiences as well as previous guests experiences. You have about 20 minutes of self exploration once you are down there after she gets you acclimated. If dust and moist air bother you may want to bring a mask. Also if you are into paranormal and ghost hunting I think their equipment is in limited quantity. We had a small group of 5 people which was nice. There are four tunnels so after the initial explanation we basically split off and we did not interfere with the other group of three. If you are not into the ghost and paranormal things the tour was worth it just for the history as well as Miranda's witty humor. Very fun date night/birthday celebration experience. Negatives: Google maps had us driving around the brewery and trying to go down roads that say no entry. The terminal for the electric tram that runs up and down Race and Elm St has a road that Google tries to tell you to turn down but it has no entry signs at both ends. There is paid public parking right on the corner of W. McMicken and Race street just go there and Northern Row Brewery is adjacent to the parking lot. American Legacy Tours, Trip advisor, and Northern Row Brewery could do better on providing what to expect. I personally am the type that just shows up and does his thing but for people that like to research, read and plan the current setup through American Legacy Tours is not ideal. Actually the explanation and information undersells the tour. That is just my opinion so take that for what it's worth.
