We stopped in Coimbra on our way from Porto to Evora. We ended up doing only part of the tour because we wanted to get on the road, but what we did was fun and what we saw was nice. App worked great.

Anna was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area. She went at a great pace for the group. Parking was a bit confusing, if there are no spots in the lot they suggest, then head up the hill and park on the side of the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the half-day trip from Coimbra to the beautiful coastal city of Aveira. Gliding through the network of canals of the city on a traditional Moliceiro boat was relaxing and delightful. Our personable and knowledgeable guide, Xavier, took us to the vibrant main square of the old town of Aveira and the beautiful Barra and Costa Nova beaches. The colourful striped houses in Costa Nova are unique and reminiscent of the brightly painted houses in St. John’s, Newfoundland in Canada. Ellen and Ryan, Canada

Great option to see Coimbra! No need to pay $100 for basicly same your. Your choice as to weather you wanted to go into various museums or not and a great feature to stop and ho into shops or get a coffee and resume tour!


