Reviews: Coromandel: Guided Zipline Tour Experience

Had a great time, learnt a lot about driving creek by our knowledgeable and funny guides Chris and Daniel
Reviews: Cathedral Cove Kayak Tour

The experience started with our guide, Lui introducing himself to us. Very thoroughly, he went over the way to paddle a kayak, how to attach the splash skirt and how to store our bring alongs. We paddled about 6 km in all with a number of "raftups" where all our group's kayaks came together for him to talk about the history or significance about a feature. One thing I really enjoyed was Lui's discussion and explanation of the Mãori history in the area. Lui told numerous stories including how the town of Hahei came to be named as a result of a Mãori Chief seeing an island that reminded him of his nose. We paddled through a hole in a huge rock, had some excellent coffee and cookies cooked by Lui right on the beach where we had a chance to spend about 30 minutes enjoying the beach at Cathedral Cove. Good exercise, beautiful sights, excellent guiding, made this experience incredibly well worth the money and time.

Awesome trip with a great crew. Noo’ora our driver was friendly and funny and went out of his way to remember names, where we were from and why we were there and incorporated it into the commentary. Very clever! A wonderful day

Reviews: Auckland: Devonport Village Segway Tour
Guest User2026-03-07
We had a great time on this Segway tour. The Segway’s were in great condition and we were each provided with a quality helmet. Safety instructions were clear and we were given an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the Segway in a safe area before we went on our tour. The tour we did allowed us to see parts of Devonport we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Special mention for Pauline who was a great guide. She was extremely friendly and personable. She was constantly talking and checking that everyone was ok. A great way to spend a few hours in Devonport.
Reviews: Waiheke Island Gourmet Food and Wine Tour

We loved our tour. Took the 9am ferry over with reserved tickets and Michael, our guide, was waiting for us with our name on a sign. The van was fine with good people to hang out with. The highlight for me was lunch at Casita Miro. Such a beautiful place and view. Our food was excellent with wine tasting as well. The olive oil tasting a different place was also very nice. Michael also showed us highlights on the island including the beaches. Our tour ran a little over schedule so we weren't able to explore Oneroa. Caught the 4:30 ferry back with reserved tickets. Overall, well worth the ticket price and I do recommend it.
