We bought a global e-SIM with 1GB per day (enough for instant messaging and Google Maps for two users, as it shares data). Our goal is to travel across four countries. The transportation and ticketing process for Machu Picchu is quite complicated. Since it was the Thanksgiving holiday, I decided to use Ctrip, and it was definitely the right choice. Communication was smooth throughout, and everything went well throughout the day. The Chinese customer service was always online, and the guide who gave us a private tour was very professional. The ticket included a panoramic view of Circuito 1, making it a very good experience.★

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.
