I first looked up the locations of the WowPass machines in Japan before heading there as soon as I left the airport. There was a huge line. You can put in Japanese bills and charge them as Korean won, but the exchange rate was terrible. I think I put in 10,000 yen and got 90,000 won? Anyway, it seemed like they rounded down the decimal places, so I really lost money. The currency exchange in Myeongdong wasn't crowded, so if you exchange your money for Korean won there and then charge your card, you won't have any problems!★

Once you get used to eSIM, you can set up the connection quickly, and if you contact customer support before departure to confirm that it's properly installed, you'll get a quick response. While the signal was sometimes a little weak in certain areas, it generally works without any problems. It's also inexpensive. I recommend it! 😊★
