It was an educational trip to understand the traditional way of making silk from learning the lifecycle of the silkworm and how the thread was formed and traditional weaving was done.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and great atmosphere. Not rushed at all to complete our lanterns. Guided through the process all the way and on hand for repairs when needed, as I managed to accidentally cut through the supporting thread. Lanterns looked great at the end and collapsed down to the size of a tube of tennis balls for transportation home. Thoroughly recommend.
