Reviews: Bohol: Dolphin Watching + Pamilacan Island Snorkeling Day Tour | Includes Transfers, Lunch & Gear
Guest User2025-02-11
It's a genuine dolphin-watching tour. The trip to Pamirakan Island is on a small outrigger boat, which moves a bit slowly, so be patient. There's abundant coral and starfish to observe, a fantastic marine ecosystem. Be careful as there's no clear distinction between the snorkeling area near the shore and the boat's navigation area. You'll be stopped if you swim too deep, but you won't be forcibly pulled back. The hand-eaten food was decent, nothing special. It's best to buy bottled water for rinsing and washing your hands. A Chinese-speaking guide was successfully arranged.
Reviews: Bohol: Napaling scuba diving experience | Round-trip transfer/Diving equipment provided/Underwater photography

The dive instructor, Liao, was incredibly friendly, and the dive guide was super patient—unfortunately, I didn't ask for his name. Because I'm afraid of water and can't swim, the dive guide didn't rush me at all, just patiently helped me get used to the water before we went in. The underwater photographer was taking tons of photos and videos, and they were uploaded "that very evening"—super efficient! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!
Reviews: Bohol Private Charter Boat Tour | Multiple Boat Types | Optional: Dolphin Watching / Balicasag Island

Unfortunately, the description is practically inaccurate. We booked a boat for 6-10 people. The description says you can choose a departure time from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but that's not true. In fact, they tell you the departure time is only at 6:30 a.m. We didn't see any dolphins, and Dev Island is closed because tourists have trashed it. In fact, they take you to Balikasag Island, which is a 15-minute ride on a normal boat, but on this one it's an hour. There, they transfer you to a small snorkeling boat, which is really good, and you can pre-order lunch. After that, you can head back. The staff is excellent; no complaints whatsoever. The only terrible thing is the sound of the boat's engine; we never encountered anything like that. It's so loud that your head will hurt for an hour after arriving on the island. I highly recommend everyone bring earplugs.

Reviews: Bohol: Dolphin Watching + Virgin Island + Balicasag Snorkeling Day Tour|Encounter with Sea Turtles
Guest User2026-03-26
The tour guides and captains were incredibly friendly! Although we didn't see any dolphins due to the weather, we were lucky enough to see sea turtles! They gave us ample time to take photos at Virgin Island beach and didn't rush us back. They even picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel to freshen up, or let us have lunch nearby – the itinerary was very flexible!
