For me I was given too much detailed history of the country before we even walked anywhere. It was a lot to process all in one go. The tour got more interesting as we visited parts of the city. It was a shame that we were taken to eg. St Paul’s cathedral and couldn’t get inside due to the 6pm mass. Timing of tour should be better. Or leave it out. Listening to the tour guides own mother’s experience of how being ruled under communism affected her daily life was fascinating. I much prefer to hear this type of information as I probably wouldn’t find this on the internet or in a book.

Had a great time on this tour. Bledar was very knowledgeable about every single thing and his communication and explanation was perfect and everything was super interesting to learn from his pov. Berat was amazing, far beyond what I had expected. Most of the times, I see people mention Berat but not Durres, so I was excited about doing Durres on this trip and it was equally super exciting to visit Durres and then finally, the Belsh Lake, where we had some good 15-20 minutes to just enjoy the views. Overall, you will have lots of free time to yourself to explore in Durres, Berat and Belsh lake and also have a great time being guided by Bledar, as he shows you all you need to see, while explaining the history of all places. Highly recommend for anyone both solo and couples!

Tourguiden var fantastisk. Han hadde kunnskap og var lett å prate med. Stedene han brakte oss til og tipset oss om utenfor touren var flotte og maten var utrolig god. Kan virkelig anbefale dette.
