It was a good tour. However, we needed more explanations for the giant Buddha. We divided in two groups, one taking the boat and one doing a short hike to see the Buddha. The first one had to wait for the secons group for almost one extra hour, as this was not clearly communicated. We took the boat trip and the view was nice.

A very long day, but well worth it. Our guide, Mark was very attentive and informative, he gave the group the opportunity to make decisions about whether we wanted to get the shuttle at the panda base and also whether we wanted to take the boat or walk at the leshan buddha. Overall, it was a fantastic day out.

The itinerary was perfectly arranged, with plenty of time for free time and meals, allowing me to have a wonderful experience at both Qingcheng Mountain and Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
