Dr Robert Knox took us on a highly entertaining journey through the history of Edinburgh old town and underground. The weather was poor but you barely noticed it, he had the greatest sense of humour, aptly dark and macabre. He answered all questions with witty facts and worked his way around the group ribbing everyone so no one felt left out 🤣 (I was placed on the naughty step for 5 mins). He explained (all whilst still maintaining character) how Dr Knox was in part responsible for our NHS, I’ll be thinking of that next time I’m in the hospital lol. I’m a scare actor and director of pantomime and he embodied both, so if he is ever in Northants and wants some stage time there will always be a spot for him. I have to admit I’m a little in love with him now 🤣🥰. He has given me the bug to find out more about the info he gave, which is the ultimate goal. Well done guys you made my friends birthday!!★

Our tour to Edinburgh Castle was fantastic. Our tour guide, Paolo was very entertaining and his knowledge of Scottish history was second to none.
As a tour group, you cannot enter the buildings on the castle grounds, however, Paolo explained the history of each one and encouraged us to stay on after the tour and explore the inside of each building ourselves. The Crown Jewels of
Scotland are a must see.
If you can, do the 12pm tour so you can witness the firing of the cannon which happens every day at 1pm.
Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.★

This is a comprehensive day tour that takes you literally to the heights of Scotland (Highlands and Ben Nevis) and to the depths of it's Lochs (Ness) and all the quaint historical towns in between. The tour guides delivered information in both Italian and English via a headset, which was very informative and included specially selected music to help pass the time whilst sitting on the bus. The bus driver did a fantastic job considering he was driving in all types of conditions for over 12 hours. The option of taking a boat tour on Loch Ness is highly recommended. The commentary provided was both informative and entertaining and was well supported by visuals on strategically placed screens. The day finished with us having a chance to interact with Honey, the Highland "coo". How Scottish! A highly recommended tour for all ages. ★

Excellent tour of the highlands with our guide, Stephen! You do spend most of the day on the bus, but it’s a lovely drive with great views, and Stephen played fun Scottish music during the trip. Would recommend it to anyone!★

Holy Coo! This was seriously such an incredible way to spend a day- take a full day trip from Edinburgh to the Highlands.We were honored to be with Scott, the best tour guide,and bonus Co-Pilot Stevie(Scott’s daughter). From the knowledge Scott had, to the fun and only Scottish music playlist, to the SAFETY and comfortability. Stewart tours was also more reasonable than other tours listed and it provided all of this ontop. Me and my friends took the tour to see Scotland, and we got so inspired and educated. It affected us and touched us in ways we did not imagine. Making our trip sp special and unforgettable. The views and places we visited, mixed with how they were explained and the history was truly everything! This is so genuine and I hope it inspires the next set of explorers to use Stewart tours. If you have the option, Scott (and daughter co-pilot Stevie) was the best. It felt inclusive with all the others on the bus as well. Didn’t feel we were sitting with 30 strangers for 13 hours. I respect that also. How fun and truly special. Thank you
