Reviews: Prek Toal Birds Sanctuary and floating Village Private Day Tour
Guest User2026-01-07
I would recommend this tour if you want to spend more time seeing the bird sanctuary compared to some other area tours! We had an amazing day seeing the birds, floating village, reservoir and monastery. Our guide (Mr. Sara) and driver (Mr. Pheape) were great—Sara was really knowledgable and helpful, he also asked us on the way to the tour whether we wanted to call ahead to reserve lunch at the floating village, which we did, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the day for us, incredible fresh fish and other dishes.

We had a great day with Somal! I think we experienced everything there was to see in Battambang. We had the history, rat bbq, temples, monkeys, sunsets, bat caves, and countryside. Everything was explained to us, the lunch was amazing, and water was provided!
Reviews: Morakot Angkor Restaurant in Siem Reap, Cambodia [Buffet Restaurant + Dinner + Traditional Khmer Performance + Stage-side Seating]

Dinner and an introduction to the spirit and traditions of Cambodian culture through dance. We tried amok, a symbol of Khmer cuisine. Delicious! It is steamed using a special Khmer paste called kroeung, coconut milk, and an egg mixture, forming a soft pudding or soufflé. It is served at holidays, family dinners, and in hotels as a sign of respect for guests. The program consisted of five dances: 1. Prince PREAH REAM's journey to save his wife SITA from the demon king. 2. Dance of the cardamom harvest. 3. Dance of the peacocks. 4. Bokator Dance. Bokator, "the art of driving a lion," is an ancient martial art of Cambodia. 5. Apsara Dance. "Art is not what we see. It is what we feel. As long as someone remembers the dance of the apsaras, Cambodia is alive." "When I dance, I am not human. I am the spirit of an apsara, descended from the stone of Angkor." These are the words of Princess Norodom Buppha Devi (1943–2019). International media and UNESCO called her "the last living apsara" and "the guardian of Cambodia's soul."
