Reviews: From Edinburgh: Stirling Castle, Kelpies and Loch Lomond

Jason was a really great guide and driver. Interesting commentary on the ride, with a personal touch and open to questions. We listened to a great selection of scottish music. He was also really accommodating for one member of the group who could not walk too far. On the way back we stopped at the three bridges, since we had time and the weather was nice. I especially enjoyed that. The stop at the Kelpies was wonderful and I had the perfect amount of time. At the Loch I did the boat ride, which was fine but the part of the tour that I enjoyed the least. The stop at the Stirling Castle was perfectly timed to do the last guided tour through the castle. Very interesting but I would have spend a little more time there if I had been on my own. We were lucky and saw one cow up close. I would definitely do this tour again.

The outing was great. We only saw Loch Lomond briefly due to construction, which was a bit of a shame. The castle tour was very interesting, and the kelpies were fun to see. Overall, it was a lovely day trip, and we had a great time. However, we were a little surprised by the price of the castle tour: the price displayed outside the shop was £18, but inside we paid more without any explanation. Perhaps this is because we don't speak English very well.

Was so so amazing! My guide was so sweet and kind and generous! I was so exhausted and he let me sleep in the van during lunch when he didn’t have to - he went above and beyond! He was so compassionate and accommodating! And he gave me extra tips on where I should visit in Scotland! He was easygoing laid back and passionate! And his trip was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable! It was such a joy and pleasure having him as a guide !

A thoroughly enjoyable day trip, with a great mix of Scottish whisky and beautiful scenery. The funny and/or interesting stories from our driver Ross made it absolutely perfect ☺️
