Linggu Cave offers a better view than Shanjuan Cave. Shanjuan Cave is a large, open hall, while Linggu Cave requires some wandering and offers more depth. Linggu Cave is relatively less popular among Yixing's tourist attractions, making for a more comfortable visit. Tickets are easily purchased through Ctrip. Yangxian Lake, located near Linggu Cave, is also quite scenic and can be visited along the way.★

The itinerary was quite packed, but it was reasonably arranged for a 7-day tour. The local tour guide was also very nice and enthusiastic.★

My trip to Beijing was a self-guided one, with round-trip high-speed rail travel; I could enter the station with just my ID card. I stayed at the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel, conveniently located above Chongwenmen subway station. Breakfast was included, and the buffet had a wide variety of options. Hotel service was excellent, and check-out was quick. The only downside was that the room window couldn't be opened and faced the restaurant. Overall, I was very satisfied and give it 5 stars!Trip.com picks
