Simone, a local, was knowledgable, charming and funny too. I very much enjoyed her tour. So much that I went back and retraced the steps we took early the next morning on my own to experience the places with less people around so I could get better photos (Florence is very crowded these days). I highly recommend as a way to get oriented to Florence before taking a deeper dive. ★

The 3 vineyards were wonderful and the quality of lunch was top class

Such a fun experience! We were driven via bus to 2 different wineries.
The 1st winery was beautiful with incredible views on a hill. We tasted 3 different wines outside at a family style long table. Also tasted some small snacks and olive oil. The host was very lovely and it was a great experience.
The 2nd winery was great in its own way as well. We got to see and pet all of their goats in the stable which was such a fun, unexpected part of the trip! Then went inside to taste 3 more wines and cheese and honey along with each one.
This was a great way to explore a couple wineries in the Tuscan countryside, while learning a little about the wines they make as well.
