The eSIM works well. I recommend it to anyone in Australia. I tested it in a small town in North Queensland and it works great, but I don't know if it works as well in remote towns in the desert. It uses the Telstra network, so it's excellent.

I bought 3 esims and 2 of them worked well. However, the 3rd one did not work at all despite multiple attempts and had to sign up for an expensive airport physical sim. Other 2 were easy to setup and use and had good signal throughout western australia.
