Lovely place with a lot of people in the summer, amazing lake with a lot of cafe’s around the lake.
Really nice for a bike ride, approx 50km around the lake and you can stop for a bath in the lake on several places so bring your bathing clothes.
A walk in the old town in the evening is really amazing, but be prepared that’s it’s a lot of people.★

Great guide! Plenty of time to do everything. Spectacular scenery. Take your time at high altitude. You may feel strange if you live near sea level. Take sugary snacks. It helps!! We did feel the hour-long wait on the glass “step into the void” was too long for the few seconds we would have to take pictures. It was plenty scenic enough already!!
We also enjoyed the train ride to the ice cave. Sad that climate change is shrinking the glaciers SO fast. ★

This tour was great. Line, our guide, did a wonderful job walking our group through the history of chocolate and the city. It was a nice balance of getting a snap shot of the city and the delight of a chocolate tasting. We went as a couple but this tour would be great for families or singles as well. The chocolates you get to taste along the way are superb.★
