Fantastic day with Bledi, it was well worth doing the private tour. He was very informative and we learned a great deal about Albania’s history. Lunch at Klee in Berat was also great fun and the food was delicious

We had an amazing experience on the Berat Castle Tour with Helen! She was so organised and kept us updated every step of the way. After a last-minute change in the tour, she even helped arrange transport for a few of us to and from Tirana and it turned out to be a blessing, because we got to witness the most beautiful sunrise in Durrës! Helen shared lots of local information and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour and especially Helen for anyone visiting Berat!

Saimir was a fabulous guide. He had excellent knowledge on all things Berat. He has studied history at university- so was able to provide detailed dialogue on Albanian history. We walked up to the castle and stopped frequently - as he provided commentary. ( I have arthritic knees and he was happy to slow to my pace!) Saimir was able to give access to a few ancient mosques and churches. He was born in Berat and therefore able to provide in-depth information. As our tour concluded - he was invaluable in helping us organise taxis and buses to our next destination - which was so helpful - as it was NOT straight forward- he followed up with some phone calls to us - which was appreciated. If you’re reading this - just book - you won’t regret it.


