The beauty of the lake was incredible!
San Juan was lovely, visiting co-ops (weaving, chocolate, 🐝 keeping ) was interesting and the guides were very knowledgeable.
The stops on the islands were a little rushed, I would’ve liked a bit more free time on each island.★

It was a lovely day with a great guide, as expected from the description. It was also very, very touristy.
San Juan La Laguna was nice and colorful with the main market street, and we got to test and try a few light activities. We then went back to Panajachel for lunch in a regular place and walked in the street with few tourist both.
Sadly, I was hoping for some off-road/surprise experience.
Guat2Do Travel - Please consider how to add "Spice" to this trip, something local.
Notes:
- It takes two hours from Antigua and three hours from Guatemala City to get to the lake.
- You will go on a fast, jumpy boat for about 20 minutes to cross the lake.★

What a great experience, all the way from our prompt pickup time by Marlon, his sparkling clean van, to our guided culture tour by Nicholas, a local himself that spoke excellent English. It was a perfect day!
The Three villages we visited on Lake Atitlan were all unique and different. Our tuk tuk ride was a highlight, along with the weaving activity with the local Mayan weavers.
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn more about the highlands of Guatemala and the Mayan culture, 5 stars all the way!!★

Our tour guide, Louis was fabulous and so informative. He taught us and demonstrated how different coffee beans grow. The travel vehicle was comfty. Loved the stop at the weavers, where we learned how cotton is transformed into yarn using natural plants for dye. Overall, fabulous day trip!
