Great chef and awesome introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. However, my experience was a bit hampered because of the family from Hong Kong with kid/s below 10 years of age (I thought the event was only for those at least 10 years old). The kids were running while we were cooking and I was afraid they might run over the hot pan and may spill the oil. The family also didn’t pay for the father’s participation but he ate a lot (even including the spring rolls which the kids ate a lot of). Otherwise, the recipes were great.★

This was a really cool experience to make your own perfume. We arrived a little late, but we’re the only ones in the class and got to try out all the scents. The actual class lasted around 1 hr but 2 hr was set aside. Would definitely recommend as it is a great memento of our trip in Vietnam and really cheap!★

Alex, our host, met us at the market and showed us how locals shop in Vietnam.
Afterwards, we took a Grab ride to the venue (paid for by the organizer). It's a friendly and very nice place where you feel comfortable.
As a group, we were able to choose two appetizers and one main course to cook together. We opted for banana blossom salad, fresh spring rolls, and pho bo.
We also got to taste three different types of rice wine. For dessert, with Alex's help, we could prepare either hot chocolate or coffee with an egg or coconut topping.
It was a wonderful experience that Alex made possible. The whole team is very warm and welcoming. You feel at home and learn a lot.★

Best experience I had! Clear and deeply teaching us on every steps, beside how to cook, and how to select foods, and step by step very clear, they are speaking good English, very easy to communicate. For sure the meal is workable to cook after back to my home town.★
