The e-SIM is very convenient. It was installed quickly, and the instructions were clear (even my 75-year-old mother figured it out on her own 😀). The only issue is that you won't have a phone number, and taxi drivers from apps, who for some reason love calling customers in Nepal, won't be able to reach you. But otherwise, everything was great! We visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Nagarkot, and the internet worked well everywhere.
