This boat tour is highly recommended. During our entertaining trip to Hole in the Rock, we were able to spot dolphins and made a stop at an island, where we hiked a small path to a lookout for a fantastic view of the islands. Both guides were absolutely charming and shared a few stories about the bay and the islands.

Glow worms are facinating, the walk into the Kauri forrest was not difficult and also facinating. Robin was our guide, lots of knowledge and a friendly welcoming guy. Thanks for the pie recommendation too at the lunch/coffee stop! Recommend Mullarkey tours over ship tours due to cost and group size. Thanks again.

The rain was annoying, but nothing can be done to change that. The experience was unforgettable. The waves were high, so it became a thrill ride. As long as we didn't capsize, I was all good, but my wife was terrified. The swell inside the rock was almost impassable, but we made it through, and the sea on the other side was the roughest I've ever been in. If you hate thrill rides, only do it on a calm day. Brilliant ride.


