Booking was easy; we arrived about an hour and a half early, but we managed without speaking English. The boat was quick. I didn't like that they stowed our luggage right inside, and the front rows were piled high with suitcases! The boat shook a bit and all the suitcases fell out, but they seemed to be intact, otherwise it was fine!

The ferry is operated by Adaman Company. Show your electronic receipt to the yellow-clad person at the far right of Tonsai Port, and they'll exchange your ticket for you. I requested a hotel drop-off service, and upon arrival, a company employee guided me to the van at the plaza where the vans were gathered, and I safely boarded the van and arrived at my hotel. The complimentary watermelon and muffins on the way were a nice touch!

We booked a ticket for the flight, and we were dropped off on Phi Phi Island. However, at the right ticket office, which a helpful Thai guy helped us find, we were told to buy additional tickets. It turned out to be a significant overpayment.


