It's a pity we didn't get to see the animals up close this trip, but seeing the fireflies at night was incredibly romantic!
Our guide, my cousin, gave us so many surprises! He was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, bringing a small speaker to play music the whole way, making the trip relaxed and enjoyable. At the beach, he even offered to take amazing photos for us; his photography skills are superb, and he knows exactly how to frame the shots. Overall, I highly recommend the experience!★

Most of the day trips were booked through Ctrip, and we had a great time. Parasailing was fun, not as scary as I imagined. We also rented a camera to shoot videos. The service was good, there was no forced spending, and everything was flexible. I was very satisfied.★

The journey was a bit long, but well worth it! Xia Ya's product recommendations were fantastic! She was incredibly patient in explaining the differences between the products and kept us updated on event information, which made us feel very reassured while traveling abroad. 👍 The guide said we were extremely lucky; the weather cooperated perfectly at all the key points of the itinerary. While searching for proboscis monkeys, we also saw water buffalo, and quickly found the proboscis monkeys. Then we saw long-tailed gibbons. The proboscis monkeys were very gentle, while the long-tailed gibbons were quite noisy—such a stark contrast between the two monkeys! Kota Kinabalu had been shrouded in smog for a month without a sunset, but on the day we saw it, something magical happened—the sun managed to peek out and we witnessed a beautiful sunset. Although it was only about 10% of what it used to be, we were all very satisfied! The fireflies at night were absolutely breathtaking. They truly only appear in places with exceptionally healthy ecosystems. You could feel how much the people in the reserve care for the environment; they reminded us of many important things to be aware of. The fireflies were truly magical!★

Let me first share my experience of the day trip. From the moment our driver, Xiao Qi, picked us up, the journey to the mangrove boat was smooth. The air conditioning was on the whole time in the car. On the boat, all the staff, including the captain, were incredibly attentive, making sure we didn't miss the proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, or lizards. Everyone searched meticulously. The captain tirelessly made every turn and turn, ensuring we didn't leave empty-handed. You might not find anything in the forest, right? The guides used their high-speed cameras to take pictures, showing you the skin texture and eyebrows of the baby crocodiles. At sunset, the guides tirelessly took photos of the fiery sunset, moving on to the next one without missing a single one. The firefly experience was even more heartwarming. They used a mother lantern to attract fireflies, caught one, and let you make a wish. Throughout the trip, they catered to everyone's hearing, sight, and emotional needs; their service was comprehensive. No need to compare—for sunset and firefly watching, this is the place to go!
Additionally, as mentioned above, this is a thank-you letter. I want to thank Xiao Qi, the driver and tour guide. He is an excellent, kind, and responsible tour guide. I hope his company leaders can see this article. When I encountered language communication difficulties, he treated me like a friend from out of town, patiently helping me communicate by phone and taking on the task of translation. He continued to help me solve the problem the next day and proactively contacted me to check on my safety. I am a lucky person to have met such a team. I wish you all the best!★

Mantanani Island is absolutely gorgeous! I was lucky enough to be assigned to boat number 5, and the atmosphere on the boat was fantastic!! The "jelly-like" sea at Mantanani Island truly lives up to its name; the water is crystal clear, the sand is white and fine, and we saw so many corals and small fish while snorkeling – it was a truly therapeutic day! I must give a shout-out to the young man who accompanied us; he started performing as soon as we boarded, was incredibly enthusiastic, and amazing at creating a lively atmosphere. His service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, patiently guiding us and ensuring everyone's safety while snorkeling. The biggest surprise was the afternoon dance on the beach – his dance moves were amazing, full of energy, instantly bringing the atmosphere to a climax. Everyone joined in the fun, making our otherwise relaxing island trip incredibly joyful and unforgettable!
The itinerary was well-planned, and the lunch was great with fish, shrimp, and crab! The boat trip was comfortable, and the overall experience was perfect. I highly recommend Mantanani Island! And a huge shout-out to the young man on boat number 5! Excellent service, energetic, and having him with us made the trip so much fun – I'll definitely recommend it to my friends! A word of warning to everyone: I went to RIA the first day and thought it was great, so I planned to try it the next day! Oh my god, it was a world of difference! RIA was terrible! They had nothing! Even the food was rubbish! It was hot and dirty, and a bottle of Coke cost 15 dollars, while at RIA it was only 5 dollars and water was unlimited! The Wi-Fi at RIA was free! At RIA, you had to buy a Coke to connect! Everyone, definitely go to RIA, don't go to RIA!
