I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

In Japan, you can't go anywhere without internet! I was there for 20 days. I bought this e-SIM because I was flying via Beijing. I activated it in Beijing (it worked very quickly). The internet was very good and stable everywhere – I was in Tokyo, Kamakura, Mount Fuji, Kyoto, and Nara. I took out 20 GB for 20 days, but in total I used about 10 GB. I used Google Maps, instant messaging, and sent photos and videos. I didn't use YouTube or Instagram because I was busy. I recommend this e-SIM. It's very cost-effective compared to roaming.

I've been traveling for three months: Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. I've never had any internet issues.
