We had an amazing cooking experience with Fancy in Lijiang today. She is incredibly knowledgeable and speaks excellent English, which made the whole class easy to follow and very engaging. She carefully explained every ingredient we used and shared the history behind the local market and Naxi cuisine, so it felt much more immersive than just a cooking class. She genuinely welcomed questions and was passionate about sharing her culture with us.
The cooking facilities at her home were beautiful and very well set up. Fancy and her husband also run a lovely bakery with delicious French-inspired baked goods and drinks. Their home has a beautiful seating area where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere, and it’s clear they are very well known and respected in the area.
Most importantly, the food we made was absolutely delicious. This was one of the highlights of our time in Lijiang and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic cultural and culinary experience.★

This was a shared tour itinerary; it was just the two of us plus one family of three.
-7:10 The driver picked us up from the hotel, and we set off to watch the sunrise.
-8:00-8:30 Spruce Meadow Cableway
-Blue Moon Valley to
-12:00-12:30 Glacier Cableway
-16:45-17:00 Return train. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. Tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway are extremely difficult to get, but this tour included both cableway and train tickets. The driver was very steady; he only took us to Ganhaizi for the sunrise, then to the visitor center, and then we were on our own. The person in charge frequently checked on us via WeChat, asking if the driver had picked us up, if we had arrived at the Spruce Meadow Cableway, and reminding us of the Glacier Cableway boarding and alighting times. Very thoughtful. We missed the return train because there were too many people getting off the cable car, but it was okay; we just took a Didi (ride-hailing service) back to the hotel. Highly recommended.★

I really enjoyed this performance. Even though we didn't understand Chinese, the show conveyed emotions through music and gestures. I recommend reading up on the performance beforehand; it will help you understand and appreciate each scene better.★

My wife and I booked a private tour. A private car picked us up from the hotel lobby at 5:30 PM. After the entire itinerary (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Sunrise, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Ice & Snow, Impression Lijiang VIP, Blue Moon Valley, and a one-way sightseeing train), we returned to the hotel lobby by car a little past 6 PM. It was nice not being rushed, and it was very helpful that they provided immediate feedback via WeChat on any questions we had along the way.★

A fantastic day spent with Linda, who speaks perfect English! The rooftop café is adorable and offers panoramic views of Lijiang. The cooking session, where we made Tibetan butter tea and Yunnan potato pancakes, was very friendly and authentic. I especially loved being invited into her home and meeting the whole family. Highly recommended.★

Booked photo session in Lijiang with them. Surprisingly the result is so good, even comparable with other expensive photo studio. My mom, me, and my sister are really satisfied with the result. We really want Naxi style costume and photo and they successfully deliver it :)
