Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Tashi Delek, hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤫🤫🤫💕💕💕 The shop in Lijiang is called Snow Mountain with Wind Outdoor Travel Photography Base. Look for makeup artist Xiao He and photographer Zhang Yang, because he's from Deyang, Sichuan, and he took my photos. I highly recommend this shop if you're going to Lijiang for a travel photoshoot. I traveled with my two kids age is eight and 10 and we were guided the whole way by a guide who spoke broken English, but enough to understand what needed to be done and get by. She was very helpful to my kids and make sure that we didn’t get lightheaded. She knew every way, took amazing photos for us, and led us to every destination smoothly. We literally went through all three seasons within a few hours, and she did everything with grace and calmness. As a parent to two young kids, I was very grateful for her!

My son and I had a lovely morning on this tour! Linda’s rooftop cafe is an oasis of flowers with views out to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We learned about Yunnan coffee and tried a tasty and pure pour over cup of coffee followed by lattes showing the name of the cafe. Visiting the local market with such knowledgeable guides was a highlight. We learnt about many different foods - everything was so fresh! We then went to Linda and Afu’s home and made dumplings with a pork and morel mushroom mix. We also helped prepare a fresh chicken salad and potato pancake. Together with the dumplings - it was a feast!! A highlight was Afu showing us how to make yak butter tea. Linda was unwell so we had Christine as a guide. She was warm and spoke excellent English. She taught us about life as a local and about the local region. This tour was a highlight of our stay in Yunnan and is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful half-day with Fancy! The workshop was truly comprehensive and enriching. The market visit allowed us to discover many typical ingredients of the region, some used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as learn more about Naxi culture and local traditions. We also explored the workshop location and their bakery, in a very pleasant setting. The cooking portion was just as interesting, featuring authentic Naxi dishes representative of what is eaten locally. The workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Fancy is lovely, passionate, and always ready to answer our questions and generously share her culture. A huge thank you to her for this wonderful experience and for everything she shared with us! An authentic, friendly, and truly enriching experience that we highly recommend!
