I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

Everything started working immediately upon arrival in China. You can activate it in Russia so it works as soon as you land. It works without any issues in Japan and China. 1 GB per day was plenty.
