I figured out the connection without any problems (my phone supports eSIM, a Samsung Galaxy S24), and I set it up in Thailand, and everything works perfectly. I use Wi-Fi at the hotel, and the rest of the time I use the eSIM. I don't watch TikTok or YouTube nonstop, so 2GB a day for messaging apps and short videos, plus the phone and apps' main usage, is overkill. I could have gotten a smaller data plan. I definitely recommend it over buying expensive physical SIM cards at the airport.★

I spent 8 days in Thailand and the internet was super smooth. However, 50GB was really too much; I only used less than 20GB in the end, which was a little wasteful. But it's still really necessary to prepare that much data. I had signal everywhere 📶 and could use my phone without worry. You can also install it directly from tirp.com, which is very easy to use. I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
