We really enjoyed the night cruise. We went just around sunset which was the perfect timing as we got to see the light change and all the building lights coming on. The extent of the lights really surprised us, we thought it was just the bit you see in photos but they just go on and on, it's beautiful! The only tricky thing was picking up the tickets beforehand. It is very unclear where the ticket office is and took us quite a while to find. For those with the same issue you need to go to Shiliupu Wharf 1! It would be amazing if they could make this clearer in the information shared. I would also recommend getting there earlier than the 20 minutes before they advise. We got there 20 minutes before and there were already lots of people queuing for our boat and the earlier you get on the better view you'll get. But overall it's a great thing to do, beautiful sights and pretty romantic.

We loved everything. A big thank you to our guide, Vasya, who led us on a truly engaging tour of the most beautiful places. He showed us great photo angles, took some really beautiful photos of us, and took great care of us throughout the entire tour. He showed us where to find delicious and inexpensive food. There were only two of us in the group, so it was a private tour for my husband and me, which was very convenient. At the end of the tour, Vasya put us on the boat, explained how to get back to the hotel, and said he was always available to help if we needed anything. We highly recommend this tour and, of course, our guide, Vasya.

I was thrilled with the excursion. The organization, the cruise, and the food were all top-notch. We arrived at the pier at 5:00 PM, as stated in the description. We picked up our tickets at the ticket office and boarded. First, as stated in the program, was dinner. The buffet was wonderful – everything was delicious, fresh, and varied. After dinner, there was a cruise around Shanghai at night. The views were undoubtedly breathtaking. You can go out on deck and enjoy the scenery. Arrival, as stated, was at 9:00 PM.
