Reviews: From Marrakech: Merzouga 3-Day Desert Safari with Food-Camel Trek
G***62025-02-16
A magic experience. The back ballade of a sublime dromadary and see the sun pull the dunes of its rays at bed and lift is just great (forecasting a good wool because at the aur it is cold when the sun is made to wish to show his first rayons 😁)

Reviews: Small-group Day Trip to Essaouira from Marrakech
V***72024-09-20
It is worth one day until Essaouira for a dive and swallow in the finest and soft sands I have ever known. A walk through the village and the strong Portuguese heritage. I recommend a good grilled fish selected directly from the bank and a few shrimps. The trip is done well in the company of the joyous Ramid, a world and desert music specialist, who speaks and sings in numerous languages, including Indian songs!

Reviews: Atlas Mountains & 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive -
L***52025-07-07
My wife and I booked this trip as it was a small group, covering five valleys of the atlas mountains.
Important things.
- I hope you get Ismail as your guide. 100% great, funny entertaining and could not do enough for you.
- if you have time please bring some small gifts for the children who pass, crayons a colouring book or something which you feel they might enjoy. We wish we had done that.
It's an early morning pickup around 7:45. We were blessed with a fantastic group. Two American's and two Dutch people. They say it's not just what you do in life it's who you do it with. That was certainly true with our group.
The first stop off is at a local berber house which looks after widowed ladies. There we had a wonderful and filling breakfast, freshly made for us. A small bit of time making argon oil which was an experience. This was followed by time spent looking at some of the products they use with no pressure to buy. We choose to buy something for how kind they were and how well we were treated.
Our next stop was coffee by the river, or if you choose in the river. We all sat on chairs in the river and had a nice coffee. Which was relaxing and refreshing.
We were then back in the car heading to our hiking trail, which lasted about 80 minutes. It was hot so take water. Our guide handed us over to a local berber who then walked us through some villages and up towards our spot for lunch. The hike was about 3km and an elevation of 150m. The views were amazing with so many different colours. It was difficult to see some of the devastation from the earthquake, but at the same time hopeful to see the restoration.
Lunch in was amazing, I won't spoil the dishes but I will say the soup and the fruits were really nice. The wind which gently rolled past as we ate was like natural air conditioning.
We then had a quick stop to look at the majestic mount toubkal. I'll come back to climb that next year.
There were two more valleys and a number of stops on the way to take photos. As we drove through the valleys there were a number of small children that came to the SUV and Ismail handed out small gifts. It was a real pleasure to see the responses from them.

Reviews: Marrakech Desert Tour & Sunset Camel Ride with Dinner Show

Overall 10/10 experience. We are a family of 5 (2 teens and one 10 yr old) all boys. Host Mourad is the best guide. He is on time, responsive on WhatsApp, speaks great English, hospitable and helped us booked a last minute extra VIP private driver as we departed from the rest of group. We got picked up in a Sprinter van at 5:30pm. Everything went smooth. Went to visit a local Womens cooperative shop. Camel ride was reasonable long, followed by a great dinner… local food was super tasty. Our boys added extra dishes and surprisingly it was free. We had a great table. Dinner was followed by fire show. Kids loved it. Highly recommended.
