We departed from the Queenstown meeting point at 7:30 AM and didn't arrive at the Milford Sound ticket office until just after 1:00 PM, stopping at several scenic spots for about ten minutes for photos. The boat trip lasted about two hours before heading back to Queenstown. In total, we spent over nine hours on the bus, which was incredibly uncomfortable – only the brave could make it! The driver spoke Chinese and was very nice! I wasn't particularly impressed by the fiordland scenery.★

The trails are great and it is awesome they provide a bike trailer for young kids. The total amount of time biking was about 1.5 hours, which is a little dissapointing given the trails into Queenstown are under construction and the ride ends at 2pm if you plan to be picked up because the long distance of the return.★

Really well organised day. The guide was fantastic, the bus trip was comfortable and the boat trip was out of this world. There boat offered decent coffee baked goods beer and wine for those like us that didn’t take the lunch option. Staff were amazing!Trip.com picks
