I used it on a trip from Vietnam to Hong Kong and it worked in both! However, the signal was extremely poor in downtown Hong Kong. It worked fine in Vietnam (Hanoi) and Hong Kong Disneyland. Hong Kong uses eSIMs with real-name registration, but the moment I arrived in Hong Kong and turned on the SIM, a URL was sent to my SMS. I turned on the airport Wi-Fi, entered my SIM information, name, and a photo of my passport using that URL, and it started working immediately. It was easier than I expected.★

It’s HK IP, so I got limited visit to Aussie sites (e.g can’t access Cole’s or Woolies sites) but it’s great for the price. All the daily communications work perfectly
